hip-hip hooray!

We had a dumpling birthday party on Saturday.
The dumplings were from Shanghai Night in Ashfield.

So cheap and tasty and so much better getting takeaway and enjoying them al fresco than eating in their crowded restaurant. It's pretty near impossible to take Lucy out and have her behave past about seven so we hung out in the backyard and she went off to bed when she was ready. Perfect.

We really enjoy desserts in my family so with two birthday boys we had two cakes. My sister-in-law made a tasty mud cake for my brother and the above is my effort. It's a tiramisu cake with a landslide of cream.
